This is a keyframe from my MA Thesis Project, Bianca Niéves, a retelling of Snow White in Argentina in the 1850s. Bianca (Snow) walks up Mount Aconcagua with her seven animal friends (the Patagonian Hare, el Condor, la Burra, la Perra, el Pingüino, and Los Guanacos) to save José from Valencia’s (the Evil Witch) curse. Painted in Photoshop.
This keyframe depicts el Pingüino helping Bianca with her magic potions. Painted in Photoshop.
This is a close up of Bianca, having made it to the magic realm within Mount Aconcagua, using her magic and the magic of the mountain to lift the curse save José. Painted in Photoshop.
Bella the Fairy Cow Mother is a character I developed for my MA project, adapting Cinderella to a small Texas town in the 1990s. Bella is Cinderella’s friend on her farm who turns out to be her Fairy Cow Mother. I wanted to convey more of a humorous, Hanna-Barbera style. Bella is never seen without her wig and tutu, and is the epitome of confidence and self love.
